thats my live food stock, been raising them for 3 years now next month. they'll be fed to the aro soon. dont get very big and feed primarily on cheerios. I wish i could keep them in a tank..hehe.

Those are nice tanks for sure. In the planted ones how long have they been set up and how often do you replace plants?

Glad you liked. My tanks that have plants arent really "Planted tanks" as some people would call them. they do have live plants, but (dont laugh) they are the plant pods that you can buy at walmart. Ive used them in the past, but was reminded of them from a post on this site a few weeks ago. i havent yet had to replace them, it seems whatever is damaged by fish usually regenerates in no time. The majority of the plants are plastic as is the grass on the bottom. I wish they were all real but i dont know if i have the skill or knowledge to maintain a true planted tank.
