Great pictures! makes me wonder why some people I know swears by canon or nikon brand lenses only :screwy:
 
very nice. looken at geting one for x mas, how do u get the real dark background. i have a black back ground on my tank but pics never look that good. whats the trick

go with a well lit subject, low iso reading for lowest noise in the picture, a fast shutter and a small aperture, and make sure the subject is not too close to any surface, that is let the fish be in the mid level region in the tank, and thou shall have ur black bg

hehe...Nothing can fend off the Jag. Luckily he only gives them little love kisses just to remind them who is boss.:D The only fish he has ever taken to with full gusto was the Umbee I had. Hence, it is no longer with me.

You pretty much summed it up.:D It does help in my case with the tank being 4' from front to back.
