A fish that eats/kill bigger fish than It self?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've seen them available in a couple LFS's around here.

I know snakeheads will attack, kill and eat just about anything.

Also one to consider is puffer fish, hard as nails mine were. Figure-8's. :screwy:

ah the blue cat... lovely bugger! get 6 or more in a species tank, they kick waaay more ass than pirahnas imho... much nicer to look at as well while they're not feeding.

there's another 'blue' whale cat that has white spots on it, it loses its blue color upon maturity, anyone knows exactly what that is? also, i've noticed this catfish doesn't swim around the tank at all, the exact opposite of the guys mentioned earlier...

I saw a cpl of those in some lfs's around here one had them labeled as White Sharks and called themparasitic fish. the other had them labeled as blue sharks and aggressive.

well i'm in the city-state that's banned the sale of chewing gum so erm...
if you can afford a species tank, i stronly recommend these fish! they get to be pretty large too(as with most catfish haha), although i can't say for sure what size they max out at, especially in an aquarium.

I know this is for FW, but one can always consider the SW frogfish of the Antennarius genus which have been known to swallow (not just kill) fish up to twice their size. I once found a great radiograph of a frogfish with a scorpionfish larger than it in its belly. Can't find the thing again for the life of me.
