A florida gar for $5.00???

g ays usualy are good housekeepers so
that means they're meticulous & would keep healthy fish.
but i dont know if i would shake his hand though..

You going to keep 2 gars?
 
Gars in general are probably only legal in flordia....

U can get it. and randomly u'll see Gars in california... They are illegal but... their not as big as snakeheads or Asian arowana... and if u go to any LFS in Socal.. theres bound to be a gar.... I've seen quite a lot already..
 
people will give up anything these days... check that seller's hands for glass stem burns

Gar are legal in other states, mostly where they are already present as a native species, I believe, but that could be wrong. I know they're legal through a lot of the midwest and southeast. I don't think many of the western states have them legalized though.
