Then I know just the jd. There is only one jd, its the biggest, stays dark all the time, and hogs a wood piece for a home. What do I Do after I take out this guy?
 
wait a few more monthes and another JD will take his place and so on untill you have the number of fish that works for you. i have 7 fronts and i am doing this same thing until i get 4-5.
 
Well, the lfs near me has no space to take in any dempseys so it looks like Im stuck with them. I cant take out any then I guess. so how many dempseys should i end up with? Ill keep the three ebjds and about 4 others the closest to their size?
 
Hmm. Ill do that... but which ones is what Im still concerned about. Should I pick out the ones closest to the ebjds size so there is less fighting? Or should i keep with the biggest ones?
 
get rid of the bigger ones. more likely to be males, keeping aggression down
