You said this in another thread before, but it's a steal at this price for a jar. I thought CO would be the same as OH, meaning not on the east/west coasts where the price is generally much lower. Jars at that size (and only that size available here usually) are about $70 at LFS in central OH.

Better luck this time Scott.

thanx, and yes i got my jars at the same price last week or the week before i don't remember...these jars are a full inch bigger so it is crazier...i am actually closer to ya i am in MN;)...this lfs has 10-14" silvers for $100...they have been selling them farly well, yet in a tank 6' away they have the $25 silvers that it would cost less to feed them to get them to that size in a few months...i guess some people just like the mostly fisnished product for their set ups...

keep the lid cover really well.

thanx for the heads up...i figured that out with my old silver...had NO TOP:grinno:...i found it on the floor just in time to save it...it was crispy, but breathing once in a while...after a long time of me holding it upright into the filter outlet it slowly came back from the dead...after it was able to stay upright on its own i went and got some plexi glass and dap to make a top...

everyone is eatting this morning and there was some nipping in the night, nothing major just a couple of split fins...one is missing a "streamer" but it will come back...

I have lost 2 silver aros. One due to the move, and the other one jumped out. I have never owned a jar. Sure looking forward to it though.

i hate when they jump...i lost a jar due to fighting...my first jar loss...and all 11 silvers i have lost in my fish keeping career were these last ones...

UPDATE

all are still good and all 5 are schooling now aswell...eatting crickets and blood worms...
