Well, I did say boarder line but not too long ago people were having this same conversation about other races, religion, explicit language, etc etc being on shows. They were once considered controversial. Once we stop making a big deal about it, it's just art imitating life. And to me, this is art imitating life. that doesn't mean I LIKE watching it though. I just don't care either direction

Well you might see it as borderline hatemongering but I don't,actually I see the use of such scenes as explotative on the part of the producers.
 
Sure...except every HBO/Showtime show (aka premium tv) has these scenes no matter the shows content.

You don't find it on tnt, sci fi, tbs etc because they can't. I see it as taken advantage of their platforms. Years from now it'll be edited and shown on cable, all of this edited out (like Spartacus right now).

I can even understand not viewing your comments as boarder line hate mongering. Most people don't think their opinion is. It's just their view, even if it's anti acceptance of something commonly accepted with small tweaks

I dont know if every premium show has them but quite a few of them do.Take FOX with Empire...they are not even a premium outlet yet they seem to want to go as far with that as they can...its like okay eveybody is aware of the characters but thats not good enough..lets throw in some shock value since no one else has gone this far on a network show..I realize they are not going to stop showing them at this point but theres just no need to ram it down our throats,I guess it comes down to how it's done.
 
I'm not talking about same sex scenes, I'm talking about mature sexually explicit content period. All Premium shows have them. Some that don't enhance the storylines (take weed or shameless?)

You're singling out a niche of same sex. That's where it's exclusive to the whos doing it and not the what's being done.

I agree that empire has found a following and is pushing boundaries intentionally to appease that crowd and force the conversation from opposition. I don't think that's what GOT is doing

I wasnt clear on what you were referring to but since you've cleared that up yeah I am singling that because it bothers me more than the other stuff....I've already said that.They are scared to show a condom or contraception commercial but theyve no problem showing two men in a damned shower.
 
I know it's not going to matter what we say or try to do to prevent these unwanted circumstances. They are eventually going to happen because of the sinful nature that people are leading themselves up to. If they think they can populate this world with just male to male contact or female to female contact then so be it. I'll just sit back and watch as they start to develop HIV and one day end up seeing them at a hospital and feel no pity towards them because they chose to live that lifestyle.
