The last two episodes have been disappointing but I really want to read the books. One of my friends who have read the books says that Danerys roles get smaller and smaller until they don't mention her much anymore. Hope the episodes won't be like this.

I just finished rewatching ep 7. I wish Khal Drogo's character played a bigger role or at least a longer one. when they caught the guy trying to poison the khaleesi, he made a pretty good speech about how he vowed to cross the poison water and take the throne for his unborn son. gets you all hyped up. too bad his story ended so soon. would've liked to see how that played out.

and at the end the queen caught ned stark. he should've listened to Renly. but then again, that's what made ned such a great character. he was a man of honor

Khal drogo should've had his own spin off books/movies as a prequel
 
Agreed and that also would have helped that actors career much more than that joke of a Conan movie did.

And yet I still rather watch that Conan than the original ... at least you can understand him when he talks and his action scenes look much, much better.

Considering the huge following he gain from Stargate: Atlantis, I don't think he was worried about his career much.
 
Well,whatever floats your boat if you prefer that crapola over the original and I wouldn't know who is in Stargate whatever it's called as I don't watch that junk either.

Thats only up to the 4th book. She is back with a vengeance in the 5th book though. But saying that, HBO is doing a good job of spreading the characters from the books stories out . No one from the book will be fading away in the TV series.
 
The Conan remake sucked big time. Stargate the movie was decent, never watched the series.
