A Game Of Thrones

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I liked the ending to this season, at first; Cersei became kind of cool, but then it was more meh lol. I have questions on how Arya Stark procured a face etc, shame we didn't see Sandor in the finale

I didn't like how cersei evolved from someone selflessly living for her kids to someone who just wants to kill everyone. No emotion when Tommen died, no emotion when Jaime returned. Her entire selling point was that she cared for her family too much, she seems like a necessary bad guy for the TV series. I hope it doesn't get pigeonholed into a good guys vs bad guys, I've heard the novel's are morally ambiguous.

I was under the impression that Cersei cared for the power of the throne more than for her family all along. She was just fine being the mother of the king and enjoying all thaitthe position entailed but she was always ready and willing to step up if that option no longer exists. I also think that the "walk of shame" drove her more mad than she already was lol.

If cersei was that one dimensional from the start I think it would be disingenuous, but maybe that's just me. Either way I'm more curious of what she wants now, if it's just to f people up cause she lost everything it would be more interesting than if she just wanted power. I suppose it was a bit premature for me to call it that way, but only time will tell. I'm convinced at this point that we are going to get a TV exclusive ending because of all the plot differences, and cersei becoming THE bad guy may support the theory a bit. TV goers are always looking for the good and the evil, especially so they can revel in the deaths of the the characters they hate. (Cersei was kind of unlikeable to begin with but now everybody will hate her haha)

I'll rewatch a replay later and soak in the entire epidode.I'm a little disappointed that there wasn't more violence displayed by Clegane.
WHICH Celgane? :)
I felt like it made potential for some truly horrible things for her next season, but you never know. The gore budget has been diminished for quite some time now, I feel.
I agree some truly horrible things will happen next season but it also sets up the premises for some awesome badassness to happen too :D I agree the last 5-10 minutes was the most important part, and "the Governor's daughter is officially dead"....talk about dehumanizing a character - this chick is gonna be a problem.

Danerys story is great IMO, and she's the one character I always look forward too seeing each episode - she's almost an anti-hero, but closer to a hero at this point. Now that the teams are forming, i'm curious if she and Winterfell will clash or decide they have the same purpose. Despite being called King of the North, I don't think John Snow wants to rule, so an alliance w/ Danny might be viable. Now that there are nothing but female rulers, more-or-less John doesn't fit the scheme anyway at this point.....
