a good parrot for my FH.....

I want to breed my male flowerhorn.. i heard that a female parrot is a good match for them.. i know that there are a bunch of diff parrots out there. which parrot would be a good match? My male is around 4 to 5 inches now how big should the female be??? any help or comments would br great... this is my first time at this so please help!!!! thanks everyone!!!!

i am also looking for a female parrot for my fh but none of the guys here can differenciate between male and female....how do i select a good female

i think the only way to be sure is to vent

some FH cant breed until a certain size....females are earlier to mature than feamles... the only sure way to sex parrots is to watch them during breeding...even venting can be difficult...i would purchas a few and wait and see....

I have 7 Blood parrots and the only way i know one is a female is when she has eggs. other then that I can't tell the difference...
