Look around, dig deep with patience.
I'm sure you'll be able to find one.

If you purchase a Congo without seeing it first, you might end up with a boring one that never moves.. I don't know if that's your thing, certainly not mine.

I completely agree, do not rush into getting a puffer... especially not a Congo since their personalities range quite a bit, not to mention red congo's can cost a fair bit too...

So unless you are sure you won't mind having a puffer that will remain buried in the sand 99.9% of the time, i would strongly urge you to wait to get a puffer you really want...

i really like brown puffers but cant find them and congo puffers where my second option

have you called around for the turgidus? The are in season in the pet shops, well shops that will carry them anyway.

You are in FLorida, a state that can get in a lot of exotics..

If I were you..I would call every store within 100 miles...if you want a turgidus, now is the time to get one..

When you call these stores..ask for "twin spot puffers" or "mekong puffers" these are names they are commonly called in the pet trade...BUT be careful, these names are given to other similar puffers in the targets..

Well, as long as your sure you don't mind having a lurker then by all means go for it... i mean as i mentioned before i loved my Congo... but then as you can tell, the congo wasn't the only lurker i had...

I waited 4 years to find this guy:
