I do less WCs on my salt tank then my fresh tanks...
Yeah but generally FW requires less dosing of chemicals and liquids, less water testing, target feeding, etc.

I think it balances to be almost the same level (between FW and SW) of work if you are diligent.

Cost and timeline to completion for the tank is something entirely different.

Once established...it might be the same amount of work, BUT...its not the same cost, unless its a FOWLR or something.

I keep hearing about this!!!!

and let me say i will be first in line at my lfs to own one!!!

That eel is gonna have a nice meal...lol jk. My snowflake ate my occelaris clownfish (cant spell) and my six line wrasse. He had a very nice meal :(....oh well he is my favorite!!!

I own a spotted mandarin, these guys have so much character. My tank's well established at only 5 months old and he never stops grazing. Only thing im worried about is he's a little skinny for my liking. He eats frozen mysis/brine shrimp on almost every night during feeding time.

i saw one of these at my lfs two days ago. i'm considering setting up my 30g as a marine if i go through with my ideas to empty it's current popuation into a 90g with some other fish, or my 55g. i have several ideas. either way, i will not be getting a mandaring until after LOTS AND LOTS of research and preparation
