So if I suck spaghetti up through holes in a tupperware container I could have lips like Steven Tyler?
Actually rd if I added some Rosie's in the tank would this work as I have the large rocks my female goes after fry from previous spaws

I doubt it. My guess is that a year from now your female is going to have the same sized lips as she does today. IMO their diet and feeding technique in the wild is not something that one can easily duplicate in an aquarium setting.
IDK if it will work or not but I'm all for a video of Neil sucking spagetti through holes in a tupperwear container while humming "Dude looks like a lady", BAAAD BAAAD!
I think this is a great Idea and if it doesn't work , he is still getting nutrition regardless, so why not keep going
Hey rd have you seen what the bottom of these lakes look like cause I'm thinking that it isn't working in captivity is because of the force the need to use to suck the prey out how many feet of rocks are there on the bottom of these lakes cause if I can get the depth right mabey it will work I'm still having my doubts tho
