The guy was a legend. Both athletically and in personality. A true individual. As much as I disagree, I can understand why the average person doesn't embrace him and gets conflicted on how to feel. Genius is complicated, and most times the people who have it also have the integrity to think and speak for themselves. It's tough when an icon of sport doesn't go along to the beat. Individuality isn't often praised, especially in sports. He was just so good people had to listen. Love it.
