What makes you think this was the culprit? Could be internal parasites.
Edwardsiella Tarda is said to make the fish have spots on it, then death of the fish happens.

Fungus maybe? Did you look at some of the more common causes of death in the hobby? There's also something that causes black spots, but I don't know the name off the top of my head.
well my ph was 6 ammoina is 1 ppm did a h2o change tank is ok going to take a re-test of the water stats
Your fish probably died from ammonia poisoning..... The spots could have been ick or maybe the ammonia burning holes in their skin....
