a little bit of an update

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
um how is it the same thing thats going on last time? and who says all the tanks ill have in the future will have dividers?? only tank that has one at the moment is my 112... and that will be taken off as soon as this batch grows a lil and i can get rid of the convicts ( besides a couple males that will be with my oscars ) the 40B will be for my livebearers in the long run.. ( also if i get to many frys i could always feed them to my oscars ) but thats if my aunt moves out ( which most likly wont happen, if not then i guess ill be stuck with an empty 40B tell i move out ) so whats wrong with getting an extra tank?? and im most likly getting a job at gordys as a paper boy or stocker,,

Everyone is just saying to chill
Sometimes we all need to evaluate whats going on in life and look at priorities. I completely understand about wanting more tanks and loving fish...but your living situation doesnt seem too consistent as well as the rules, etc.
Maybe, you should start saving up money, making money in the future isnt a certainty in our lives.

Ppl arent trying to be jerks just telling you to reel it in a little. Keep one cool tank, give it time, let the fish actually grow to adult size. I live in a one bedroom w a 90 and 75. My 90 is a nice community w no breeding and the 75 has a rd and barbs.
For my situation im being told it is over the top, but to me it is simple and easy to maintain and deal with. Once you start breeding, dividing tanks, adding more smaller tanks it becomes no fun. Just have that one big tank...im a good amt older than you and I wish I had a tank that size, man. Just enjoy that tank and worry about whats going on in your life and how you can make your future better..not a knock...but you make money, buy a house, have cash and you can do some serious cool tanks.

No to pipe too much in here,,,,,but I am an engineer with a good paying job in Las Vegas and I want more tanks as well. But I have my wife keeping it all real and saving every receipt for every purchase so whenever I talk about the next tank I can see how much this hobby is costing me currently.
I agree with the statement to just have one or two tanks that are top notch as opposed to buying new tanks weekly.

Good Luck and keep an eye on how much money your spending and maybe think about saving some of that for a rainy day.....

dont know where everyone is getting that i have more then one tank right now, i only have one and the 40B would be my last for now. im gunna be saving up to move out soon to.
