Steven, what is temperature of your water and the levels, and what food are you feeding it,, allso how big is your tank and how big is your Arowana, and how many other fish have you got in that tank,,, supply details of your water changes aswell,
Did you take both pics the same day? Because the second pic the scale look like it healing some.
They were actually taken a week or so apart and are not in the correct order. The hole got bigger and slowly spread to the edge and is now a crescent shape. I've kept the temp up, changed water regularly and done a six day course of Azoo Magic Treatment. It has stopped spreading and he seems absolutely fine, perhaps just slightly less appetite which I think is fine for now. He gets a vast range of food from Blaptica Dubai, SW injected with Salmon oil, Crickets loaded with Spirulina, earth worms, freshwater shrimp, occasional Gecko and Bullfrog. Except the Geckos which I quarantine, all come from a high turn over supplier which have never caused problems in the past.
This is his current state which he seems to be maintaining. Would most people now recommended pulling both of those scales?
