He was $250, no idea if that's a good price or not, but they don't come around often up here. I honestly don't know much about them, but they are the reason I started keepin fish. It's just taken this long to find one!

A little expensive but when they are that rare in your area it kinda is worth the money. Snookn21 had a bunch of 2" Mala's that were like $25.00 at 2" and I'm trying to see if he has any more. But a 15" is probably better in the long run
Would be fun to grow one from a baby I think. Is it normal for malas to have no aggression? I put a 4" runt snakehead in with him to see if he'd take it but nothing. Won't even look at him. He takes tilapia but even when feeding he's very gentle almost dainty. Very active though, always cruising the tank.

Some Wolves can be monsters who are super aggressive or some that are as peaceful as a plecostomus. It's probably because your wolf is just settling in though. If you want to keep your snakehead I wouldn't leave him in there overnight
