Sorryf or all the questions and posts but there is quite a strong current in the tank, theres quite a powerful internal filter which i have on the lowest settling and a large airstone.

well i've been busy and have done a 40% W/C and have fitted a smaller filter and i have removed all tankmates and added a few floating planst which he loves swimming in and out of.
Sounds perfect! These guys (baby SA lungs) LOVE!!! the freeze dried krill in the blue/yellow cat food looking can. Just a fun tidbit of info.

good to hear. that is definitely a small SAL! they are great at that size. also given that size, they quite often do hang out in floating plants, etc. so as stated earlier in the thread, i wouldn't be alarmed (you'll be able to tell if the fish is swimming frantically). good luck and keep us posted on how the fish is doing--
