i don't have koi... just very large gold fish... some of them are almost a foot counting their tails... they are 9 years old this sept... i have no secrets... my last pom lived until 16 years old... this one is really healthy.. no major health issues... just have to give her big arm/hand signals since she cannot see or hear as well as she use to.. but one thing i did always give my dogs..was one fish oil capsule a day.... keeps their coat and skin healthy and may help their heart... since every time i take her to the vet he says wow her heart is doing great... :D

I actually take fish oil too. LOL

What do you feed? Soft food? I hear older dogs need soft due to teething/gum pain.

as in Batavia near Rochester.... i know where it is ... i showed my horses there a few years ago... now they have a big casino there i would love to go sometime... i am in the fingerlakes region off lake ontario

i take a couple of fish oil capsules a day too... i feed Innova... all health food dog food.. it is not soft.. crunchy... i never heard of feeding soft.. they still need to clean the tartar and calcium buildup off their teeth as they age.. so unless your dog is having a problem with his gums/teeth i would not change..

thanks .. alot of work... my husband calls me a "weedwackers nightmare":ROFL:because so many gardens...
 
anybody notice the old car going down the street.in first pic. you can see a tiny bit of it... its my old 50's car.. my husband was driving it.. just then the battery died...:irked:
