A little tip for AC110 owners

So just fill your ac110 with sponges, and use your canister, and sponge filter for bio.

don't know about making it more efficient. I use mine with a total of four of the manufacturer's filter cartridges. That's a reasonable amount of mechanical and biological filtration. I just posted in the "longest equipment" sticky thread about my Emperor 400. Been running almost non stop for 16 years now. Impressive.

Thanks mate, my Emp 400 is currently running in my tank with a jaguar breeding pair and it is actually working a treat, I was thinking about filling it up with polyester pads to henance the mechanical filtration, polish the water and just two coarse sponges as bio media instead of any cartridges or the two baskest of stock.
