a little trick to my cichlid aggression(worked)

soo i recently had a tough time with some of my south American cichlid aggression (3 oscars and jag catfish and bichir) soo i posted on here for some help and someone told me add more fish but i was sketchy about soo i went to 1 of my lfs just to try the gamble and picked a small school of silver dollars roughly 5-6 in and by my surprise it worked out in a way still some light chases but nothing more i think they will calm more in time its might seem crowded i kno(dont need bigger tank facts) but no1 seems to be much bothered>> thanx everyone for all help feel free to post me

haha i had faith in your idea man ive been around the block with tanks b4 just never as aggressive.. but thanx alot the dollars actually makes the tank look real good and lively>> reminds me of piranha pack

Yes I use this method with more aggressive fish

Dithers are awesome and add movement to the tank when the school together in fear for their lives!

I am not a fan of Silver dollar, has any one try any other combination ? If I have Texas, can I over crowd the tank with more Texas?
