After 7 sets and one year later I finally got my Convict's to breed. Everyone said it's so easy to breed them. Well this is my first spawn from these two and Convict's period. I thought this day would never come.

with cons its all about changing on them vs them coming around.
Changing females vs changing males to suit the male
Chainging water
Chainging the heat on the tank
adding new spots for them to breed, make sure you make spots away from the filter, she will be more comfy, i added slate standing up and for sure she dug a hole next to it and had the eggs there.
Do all of this and it will happen more often.
