Funny... for me it seems like I can't find ways to keep them from breeding.... but congrats. Hope you have something to do with the babies, because once they start, they don't stop breeding....

Got Plenty of cichla to feed! That was the whole reason I never gave up this whole time I need them to breed and breed hard!

Hey rida - did your previous sets show any signs of bredding? I just picked up 3 and my female has her vent sticking out. I'm hoping she drops some eggs.

I also picked them up to feed my new monos.

that's cruel man!, lol jk. i only managed to breed cons twice only, but my devils breed more often like every 2 weeks without fail in a 3x2x2 tank, they have waay more frys than cons and theirs grow waaay quicker to an edible sizes than cons, i even got some inside my sump!.

and now my jags are doing the same and believe it or not none of their tanks are heated (summer time here in oz).

GL with raising them.
PS if you take out their babies, it will make them breed faster and more often.
