I used to respond to that with "what do you want" because that was the only time I ever heard that without me saying it first
Even in the good days it didn't take me very long to learn that "you know that I love you right?" means that she was scheming and up to no good. The first time a cat appeared minutes later, the second I came home from work to find half the house painted and I had to finish up all the difficult parts. The last time I found out about a vacation her and her friend were going on alone less than a week before they left, when everything was paid for and non refundable.
That's hilarious, Gramz. I would expect Mike to come out with something along the lines of "What do you want?" Even though we either say it or text it at least once a day.

Lol @ who is this. That's sad. I say I love you just about everyday but depending on my tone I'll get a humorous answer. Texting not so sure about.

LOL. I can see "who is this?" when kids can hijack adults' cells in the car. more than once, my husband had kids reply to texts when he was driving. that'll teach you to be careful ;-)
I've heard the... " what do you want now...?" but its pretty much a standing joke between us because its what I say when he says I love you too.. or "how much is this going to cost me?"
