IRELAND!!!!
I just set up my first salt tank! It is a 26 gallon bow front. It is cycling now (about 4 days now) and i just noticed last night that I got a free star fish brittel? (very small grey with black spots and lots of spikes on his arms) with my live rock. Other than that I have not put anything in the tank except one mexican turbo snail. I know 26 is a bit small for my first time salt but I just lost all my other tanks (see lesons learned) and its all I have left. I just felt so bad after my other tanks were gone I thought I would go in a new direction (away from fresh but not forever) and try and open a new door in this great hobby!

nice! one thing I wanna tell you is that saltwater hobby is (for me atleast) more addictive than freshwater! I first started off with a 20gal and now I'm at a 60 gallon reef! planning to upgrade to a 240...(IF I don't loose my job that is!)

welcome to the hobby and good luck!

good luck and please be patient !
All good reefs come in time..
Most important thing is your skimmer!!!
Get the best thing your budget can allow.
Heres mine for my 125

a 26 should be fine, my first one was a 29

Started with a 12, now i have a 90. It was big at the time, but i'm already saying "it's to small for that... i'm going to need a bigger tank soon" and it's not even done cycling

For right now I am going to do a FOWLR tank and after I get a little more knowledge I want to move into a lower light (T5HO) reef.

Here are a couple pics. Sorry for quality....Cell Phone Pics.

I know crappy equipment for now. Next week I am getting the skimmer and changing the filter to a aquaclear 70 before i put any fish in.
