Nice Find! The same place were I got my Yellow Collared Macaw has a Cockatoo that they rescued, aswell as a HUGE Hybrid Macaw, and I want them both.

The Cockatoo was abused by men, so whenever I tried to touch it, ir would run away ontop of its cage, but it would talk to my mom it would say "Hello" and "I love you" to my mom. I hope it finds a good home, I would have got it for my mom, be we dont have the room for anymore pets.

And the Hybrid Macaw they have is about 20 years old, Its owner died of old age, I guess she/he got it when she was about 50, or 60? And the bird was passed around the family by people who couldnt take care of it, then ended up at the store. It was a really cool bird, wouldnt let me touch it, but it did say "Hello baby" and whistle at me, and then nod its head at me. Very funny bird. I also hope he finds the right home.

I just wish I had room for both of the birds, as I would take them in a heartbeat!

Good luck with yours!

Heres Little "Diablo" Man, My Yellow Collared Macaw.

thats a very nice looking macaw, love the colors on him

Haha, Your Cockatoo is so cool! Do you have a good air purifier near his cage? I have one near my bird cage. Humidifiers are also good.

My Macaw has recently grown back most of his primary flight feathers, His colors are amazing now! You cant rweally see the yellow on his neck in that pic, as he has his head turned. I'll try to get some good pics of him tommorow, as he looks stunning now!

Good luck with your Cockatoo, he looks great!

I just had the most horrifying thng happen to me about 2 minutes ago, I'm sitting at the computer, and I hear a crash, so I ran over to my macaws cage, wich is about 5 ft away, and was covered at the time to find out my Macaw fell off his perch, so I picked him up and I thought he broke his leg! I held him for a couple minutes, and my mom checked him out with me, I guess he was sleeping ad just fell. His leg is alright, I guess he just had a cramp, because he's using it fine now. Scared the crap out of me though, I thought He weas really hurt. He's now back asleep and doing fine.

And I will get some pics of him tommorow, promise.

Lol. Last week I found a Lorikeet flapping in my garden which had 2 broken legs. Couldnt take off thus couldnt fly. Drove it to an old bird guy with 1 tooth and off we went.

They fly like 30 miles an hour right past fences and houses etc, so this one must of been unlucky. I have a whole flock of them in my garden most days.

I was going to take pics of my Macaw, but I cant find the camera. :( Maybe tommorow.
