A new tank build

I've got the whole of October off work so going to get as much done as i can then unless i run out of money, which is highly likely having just bought a house! I have found though that a cheaper way of getting supplies is finding in the shops what i need then hunting for it on ebay, I've managed to half the price of some of the wood i need today doing that. Just a thought. Looking forward to seeing glass in yours, but congratulations, you've put me off trying to cut mine myself!:D
 
No new updates for a bit now. There's been some pretty big shut downs in the Steel Mill and I've been working like crazy. Good news is I'll certianly have the money for the glass in a week or two. Other than that the whole build is complete now. Except for the floor lighting which I think I'm going to hold off on for now.

Decided on stocking. Going to order a half dozen tiger oscars and try to get a pair.
 
The jags are allright but they just don't turn my crank like the oscars do. I have a couple of silver dollars and was thinking I'd get some more and have a nice shoal of them in there with a pair of O's. The only problem right now is waiting for some time to get this thing finished and set up. It's driving me nuts but I had to compromise with the wifey and do a little reno work around the house before I set up my tank or she was going to get cranky. So my time line is a little off but in the end the tank is going to have a nicer home.
