A guy here in MN has one that is at least 12 inches. HUGE Red Texas. Saw it at the April fish show here in MN. It was just ridiculously big. Never seen one that big. Looks just like that RT. Its huge and thick and very bright. Its not fertile though. Good show fish. Hopefully that RT is fertile.

very nice fish...the one in this thread and the one you mentioned at the fish show.....but I would not pay that much for one....no way no how!!! besides I have grown some very nice specimens and I have customers that have some really nice SRT from me that I sold at one inch for a hell of a deal!!!

I would say red Texas like this still quite expensive in some place, especially in Taiwan. fish like this could go for $4000-5000 in Taiwan a few years ago!
