That pool DOES look awfully shallow for the 'Pimas, but they don't look unhappy. I've seen pics of rearing pools in the Amazon that were only a few feet deeper, so maybe they're ok.
Maybe the pool has a "deep end" that isn't shown in the pics? I hope so!
Wonder what he's going to do in the future considering these beauties are not even half grown yet!
The owner is obviously very dedicated and loves his fish - the article that the pictures came from makes that quite clear - so it would be a shame for him if he ran out of space or his babies died.

well, more arapaimas pic will be post in soon.

So far, i collected kinda lots of ara pis & photo, all frm MALAYSIA as well ( zoo, piblic aqua, lfs, etc.. tht i visit ) , and yes, all of the pic & pho i took it(them) myself wth camera.

Hopefully, i manage to post all soon.
