Alright, thanks for opinion and all your help on the thread. I will post pics of them on a new thread after the final "verdict" has been decided and I get the fish.

Got with option 1, but keep an eye in the rainbow shark as far as aggression goes and be prepared to remove it if/when it starts to get nasty. Also keep an eye on the pleco and rehome it once it hit 8" (you arent going to have a real time frame as growth can vary, but will be looking at around 1.5 years is my guess).

I can probably have the pleco in at least a 150 in about a year and a half but might not be for 2 years actually. I can always increase my wc schedule for a while until I move it.

I will get a quarantine section for the rainbow shark if it gets to aggressive and then keep it in there until I can find someone at my local fish club to take it.

Not sure if we already covered this earlier in the thread (it's so long) but could I swap the firemouth for a salv since the are similar size or would the salv kill the danios?

Salvini will kill the danios

What about..for cichlids: 1 green sev and a breeding pair of some easily bred cichlid such as convicts or would they get to territorial and kill the sev?

A pair of cons would terrorize the sev not to mention probably kill the catfish and force all fish to the other side of the tank. No breeding pairs

Any breeding pair of CA cichlids are going to be far too aggressive for a sev to deal with. I wouldn't recommend any additional cichlids in a tank with a breeding pair of fish that are 4"+ because they will take over the entire tank in a 4' tank.
