when my dad was growing up in the 30's he lived in the bronx. he read all the tarzan books........going to sleep with the the lions at the bronx zoo roaring in the background

I went to the bronx zoo many times... i was born in manhattan... so i appreciate your ny story and your ny roots... i also lived in california .. when i was in my 20's i decided to try a cross country trip..route 66 .. through barslow ..where it was 106 degrees... lived for a year in bellflower,downey and signal hill and after the three weeks of rain that nov..went back to ny
