I used Red Sea when I first got into salt, but quickly changed I hated how it had so much residue left over after mixing.

I've heard very good reviews on Instant Ocean Reef Crystals, my friend uses it and his reef is thriving. Cost isnt too bad either

I use Instant Ocean and like it alot. Sometimes its hard to get everything to dissolve completely but put it in a bucket with a powerhead and let it sit over night and its great stuff.

i do that anyway....doing water change tomorrow so i'll let you know but i can only compare it to red sea lol

just get away from red sea ASAP, that stuff is pure CRAP. *Friends dont let their friends use Red Sea* LoL
