also is unflavored gelatin just plain gelatin....i have gelatin...its labled gelatin

oranges are quite acidic. In not sure if that causes any problems...

i think i would stay away from citrius fruits, pineapple

i would use melon? , sweet potatoes, papaya ....cook the sweet potatoes

added water from the sweet potatoe if its to thick? or use the water from sweet potatoe to melt the gelatin?

The recipe calls for Smelt, but not "oily fish".
Here in my neck of the world, Smelt is very oily. Is there another type of smelt?

we cant get bloody smelt here... lol i've only seen it once before at it would cost loads! haha i aint following the recipe i just wanna do my own thang
