Very cool. Have any pics of what his new home looks like?

I'll take more pics tomorrow, meanwhile, here is another fact going on, just around 6 months ago I purchased a 15cm endlicheri; then I put the endli in the same pond. Just recently I checked on the size, and its doubled. Which is now around 30cm. I hope similar thing will happen with this poli.

Nice! More details on the pond would be awesome!

wow bro garniac, thats very cool for a poly living in a pond, its always been my plan to house my polys in a backyard pond too, i like the clear water in the pic, is your pond in a shaded place?

what sort of feeders r in the pond for the polys?

thanks, I was feeling abit worried for awhile, because of the water quality which I could not controlled. There are 2 outdoor ponds on my backyard, the big one and the small one. And I do have filtration system running for the bigger pond but not on the smaller pond. It takes a while for the water to clear up previously after filling.
The pond is on the open area, and it gets direct sunlight during the day.
There are tadpoles, and some platy fishes in the pond, and I am wandering if bichirs also feed on plankton in the water.
As for the smaller pond, the one with no filtration; I also put some endlis in, and it is where my endlis got huge in awhile. I occasionally supply foods in the smaller pond, but not much. The water only circulates when it rains; and when I notice a lower water level in the pond, I add more water in. I live in a tropical country, so rains are more frequent within a year.
If you also live in a tropical country, I think you could do your own pond too, and it doesn't have to be big,
I'll post pics tomorrow,
cheers
