ain't got a clue yet, me and boyfriend can't agree on anything lol
I want a new fish but he's wanting sevs and I see his point the female sev gets chased by m sev, gt and texas so would benefit her, think he'll probably get his own way as I love animals so don't like seeing f sev chased but got convict in CT gonna move that into bedroom tank with texas and gts if sevs go in trigon?
what would you do?

I wouldn't be worried about her being chased if she isn't losing scales and her fins aren't getting torn, and of course she has to be able to eat safely. I imagine you see the male doing a lot of head shaking around her, they probably look like little seizures, these are all normal courtship. I would probably move the sevs though, I feel like the texas will be sandwiched between two daddies is bad for business long term.

yes my gt is doing head shaking to his missus right now
they breed constantly as the sevs probably would breed if in their own environment
you make some good points I hadn't considered

this is what we've done so far,
Welsh blue slate, cut and positioned all interlocked
mopani driftwood,
two bubble curtains you might see the tubes
fake grass cut to size covering intake filter front centre

That would make an awesome display for fish that will use the cave!
