This may be a dumb question because i have not looked through my manuel..simply because time is a factor and this is easier.. Does it help to replace the camera battery after a certain amount of time even though it takes a pretty good charge.. how do you know when you need a new batter.. i have had my camera two years now and this suddenly occurred to me... thanks for any info and replys... :D

if the battery seems to drain too qiuckly, it's time for a new one.

well thank you.. do you know if this would also effect the quality of pics .. even though it is charged.. :D

shouldn't really, just the flash and # of pics you can take.

Thanks again.. i appreciate it very much!:)

I have one more question.. if you connect your camera to pc and you are about to transfer pics and it does not want to transfer the pics would this be another indication that your battery was dying or should your camera upload battery low or not as long as it is connected to pc.. because this happens to me quite often.. thanks again:D

My camera did that when it's battreries were low.

it depends on the make and model, some draw electricity from the computer, some don't.
does your's use a memory card? or do you have the right port for it?

As far as picture quality, no, it will have no effect. Digital pictures are just ones and zeros. It shouldn't have any effect on image transfer either. IME it either is on or off on a digital device.

mine does have a memory card.. and this am after charging the camera all night the transfer went off without a hitch so i think mine is definily one of these cameras that needs to be charged to transfer..and i will definitly get a new battery:D :D how much does the average battery go for $$.. Thanks again.. you know your stuff :naughty:
