A question on Pearl rays

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
No truth in this what so ever.....utter rubbish!!!

There are other examples,... rather laughable!!

Tigrinus cats (Brachyplatystoma tigrinum) attain 3 years of age then mysteriously drop DEAD!!..lol
South American Lungfish(Lepidosiren paradoxa) get to 8 years of age then guess what?...you got it!! they also drop dead!..These things are living fossils!
And one of the most common myths of all..."Stingrays are difficult to keep"

The above are in most cases "not all" caused by poor husbandry and a lack of knowledge, sure a fish can suddenly die, it happens in humans too, life can be fragile.

Tigrinus are fairly hardly once they get past 12"
The after 3 year thing I have been told only happens to females after they store to much fat up to migrate being in a tank they don't burn it off

Thin bar dats also die for no reason

But like you say pearl rays that's a new one

So sad to here about the lose of the pups
