A question to those who have acrylic tanks

make sure you take lots of pictures or video when you build this tank im on the very edge of taking a leap at one of these diy monster tanks

I will do so flip_mode... It will not be for quite some time. I still don't have the resources, knowledge, or time to do it yet. I need to graduate university first and get my own place

I am thinking of doing an 8x4x2.5 myself because of these videos and deciding between 3/4" and 1" .. whatever you decide to do post lots of pic and info. I will be taking the plunge in a few months and wants to get as much info as possible

hopefully i will be doing one also in a few months also. funds should be right then just dont want to get started on a monster tank and have some disaster come up and have a half made tank left idle

For those of you looking to build your own tanks, there is a thread on reefcentral dedicated to acrylic fabrication questions. You can get really good info from guys that build tanks for a living. James from Envision acrylics is extremely knowledgable and for whatever reason helps people who are looking to build their own tanks. His screen name is "Acrylics"...he is an awesome guy.
