A rather special hybrid

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Very nice addition Jim.....something different!

Hi Richard. Thanks, i am very happy with her. Will be good to watch her develop. Did not set out to buy a hybrid but when i saw her and knowing it was a female i could not resist. Wife not happy on the out lay of cash but she does like the look of the ray so i got away with it - just!

Wow, may be one of the prettiest pearl hybrids I've ever seen

Thankyou. Glad ou agree. I don't normally set out to purchase hybrids but thought she looked a little special. The white spotting on her should be interesting as she grows.

Would be rude to say. Obviously not as much as a pure blood but a fair price for such a good hybrid. In my opinion you pay what you think they are worth.

Well said Jim!
That's not your average messy looking hybrid, it has a beautiful clean distinct pattern, not big on hybrids myself but when they look like that its hard to turn your back on them.....STUNNER!

Your building up quit a collection.
Good luck to you.

Thanks Richard. I too was not big on hybrid until i saw this one and like you say i could not leave her!. I know i have a mix of rays that could potentially produce hybrids but that is so i can offer a mix of both pure blood and hybrid if i am lucky enough to have my rays breed. I would not have set out to buy hybrid rays on their own. My first love are BD's.
Here is a couple of updated pics. Been in the tank 3 days now and starting eating so i am happy she is going to settle. Just a little concerned about how long i should wait until i let her in with the other bigger rays.
First pic is lights off, second pic is with flash on my phone camera.
