Make sure that you do have plenty of hiding spots. Tigers like to hide, and minnows and earthworms would work. (Bloodworms, shrimp, some pellets, beefheart, etc. would also work)

Growth rate I'm not sure of, but to fatten him up a bit I would try some meatier foods. Bloodworms, shrimp/prawn, earthworms, etc.

Very nice tiger. They will eat anything readily if not stressed, such as krills, sinking pellets, and MP.
