A "red" flagged offer...

I figured I would share this with everyone....
Recently approached with offer for a red arow if I wanted one. "Sure I know who could get you one...but it is illegal to own one so it is expensive". "He demands $1500" for a 10-15" red dragon" (This is the paraphrased story I had recently.)
Bottom line..I think that the infamous red arow can be found through certain entities in the US, but just got to know who to get it from.

DNR...For the record, I did not buy and left it at that. I am not going to disclose where or who...cause I don't know or remember. I never SAW a red arow so could have been just a story anyways. So don't come to my house expecting to bust me with a red arow...I do not have one.;)
 
I had a guy offer me a 3" one for that price, but I declined.
 
its funny as someone on another fish board tried to sell me an asian arowana, they were from cali they thought i was from the US too i told them i was from the UK and could get them legally.
they even sent me pictures of the set up which looked very professional with loads of greens and reds.
i thought it was funny.

they are all over if you know the right people after that its up to you if you want to risk it but then again most of the people I know wouldn't know the difference from an Asian and Australian :lipsseale :asianarow
 
So the whole point of this thread is that you want to announce online that you recently bought an asian aro .
