Has anyone ever used hook and line to remove a fish from a tank?? I mean if you used a lucky joe or a crappie jig and shaved the barb off, it wont really hurt the fish.. Just curious.

HA HA...........I never have but that is an excellent Idea If I ever need to remove my bass................. jK

i keep planted tanks with tons of wood and cover so netting fish is a B!TCH !!! Sounds sort of fun at the same time. Might be an option.

THis ought to make an interesting 12 page thread :D

All i know is that I wouldnt use a hook for my fish, especially when it costs nearly 100$ for one fish.

nevermind other people on here with thousand dollar Aro's and other fish species.

hooks are for fishin..

If I still had pacu I might do it just for kicks.

I guess you could but its not the easiest and fastest way of removing a fish from a tank. In other words, whats the point?
