Okay, I know I've said this a couple times already, but this really is the final update in this thread.
Dracula looked great when he was transferred to the Goldie tank, about 7 weeks ago. I think he started to deteriorate immediately, a slow gradual decline from the constant stress of competition for food. His colour darkened, his tummy was never full, and his activity level was low.
After posting yesterday, I cautiously netted him out and returned him to his original home, a 120gallon with a few Swordtails, paleatus cats, a small pleco and a couple of small Gymnos. This morning he looks better than he has looked...well, since I took him out of here 7 weeks ago. Nicer colour, more activity, full tummy. Returning him was definitely to right move.
So, okay, now I truly and done with this thread.
I'll start a new one for him once he's in the outdoor pond.
