So i got a call from the guy i ordered my RBP from and they told me that the official's from the UAE said that they are not allowed here and that they would not issue me a license or permit to keep one, which sucks cause i did loads of follow up and speaking to people about bringing them in and at first they all said it was fine just difficult.

The only fish they bringing in is the Pacu Piranha, so i am well gutted and my next question is what alternatives can i look into that are similar to keeping a Piranha in terms of schooling, looks, behavior etc....

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a federation of seven emirates situated in the southeast of the Arabian Peninsula in Southwest Asia on the Persian Gulf, bordering Oman and Saudi Arabia. The seven states, termed emirates, are Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al-Quwain, Ras al-Khaimah and Fujairah.

All the places are like a hour +- drive from each other but Dubai and Sharjah are basically like right next to each other lol, I should check if 1 of the emirates allow them and bring them in through taht one lol

yeah thats a good idea. Where I live there are two states touching each other (Virginia and Maryland). They're illegal in VA and legal in MD If someone were enterprising and they wanted to they could just cross the border and by one and go home.
