A sad story (with pics).

This is my cat, his name is Bono. We received him in march 2009, he was 3 months old then, so that makes him 14 months old now. In that period of time he really has gone through stuff, he had a rough time in august he had some digestion problems and had to take anti biotics for 2 weeks.



But last saturday morning, when i woke up he was lieing on the bathroom floor, acting all wierd... So i poked him in a few places to see if he was hurt, and turns out he had a broken leg. Me and my dad took him immediately to the vet to get some X-ray photos and his leg was broken badly, it was in four pieces.



He spent the weekend in the vet and had a surgery today, the doctors couldnt save his leg, the bones where to crushed. So i know own a three legged cat.:irked:

Anybody have a three legged cat?
 
poor little mite. hope his recovery goes well. i dont have a three legged animal but from what ive seen and read cats do great with 3 legs.

I'm very sorry to hear , but once he heals ....just treat him the same as before and he will reajust at his new life before you know it .....he will do great ....very good looking cat btw.
 
I had a cat that had the same exact leg severed. It was able to run, hunt, and play with the other cat just fine after it adjusted to it's injury. I think your little guy will turn out just fine.
 
Thanks all, its a shock to the family as he is the center piece of it.
He got hit by a car, that is how he broke it, somehow he crawled back home. The person who hit it never showed up. bast*rds.

your cat probably didn't stick around.

my cat was attacked by a pitbull and his leg was broken in a few places. i watched this happen and when my brother finally managed to get the pitbull to stop, my cat HAULED ASS over the fence and disappeared, even with his destroyed leg. He was panicked and in shock. he came home like two days later...

he was an orange cat, too. They are the toughest kind ;)
