they grow to abotu 6 inches. absolutely vicious, my 4 incher terrorizes flowerhorns, red devils, buttikoferris, and he's always the first to snatch the feeders when they come.

yeah its difficult finding good micro-monsters! i dont think puffers can be kept with different species because of fin nipping? is that correct? my sen. bichir is very predatory yet, the floor of my tank is littered with ghost shrimp, but he doesnt touch them, maybe because he is so small? that pikehead looks sweet, but expensive! i might attempt some leaf fish in my tank also. do you guys thoink puffers could be kept with my belonesox and bichir? anyway, good luck jason! its always nice finding something cool, so far the belonesox is my fav, the male is eating well and already trying to breed in a cycling tank with too much ammonia!

i would suggest a pictus catfish or a four line catfish they are relatively small but is just like watching a chark with wisker
