So I'm super juiced about these catfish - been years since I've seen them offered, and was years before that batch - missed out as they sold fast. So I order 6 and all show up great (Thanks Jeff Rapps). I acclimate and carry on working on the eels new tank upstairs. A buddy stops over to check out the cats and we head down to the basement. This is what I find......

I ended up doing a lil drinkin and forgot all about the dang severed catfish. Was still breathing and twitching the next day.
The ATF got a one way ticket to a front row seat of what I like to call the circle of life - when the tables turn and the predator becomes the potential prey - they were moved to the meat locker - 3 male rays, a puffer, and 2 wolves (1 an Aimara). And NOW they are all living together peacefully. For now.
This is actually the smaller trio - 2Ts n a V. I'd guess 6-7". The larger trio of Ts are quite a bit bigger. Big enough I'm in a bind for room. Either need another big tank or might have to rehome some teeth. They hate my short tanks.
I was keeping these ATF with my Morays (Polyuranadon) Stuff seemed ok but looking back I did find one of the morays dead - was chewed up but figured they did it after it died. The catfish thing was different, they swam all over the tank up and down the walls and the sides. Only took a few hours and the ATF were huddled in the center of the tank. The catfish they attacked seemed to be the largest of the group. With the ATF moved the eels come out now. Wish I had more time to sit and watch them.
