A silver and a crawfish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The best at removing uneaten pellets would be you, don't rely on fish to clean the tank. Monsterfish keeping and lazyness is never a good mix.

BTW in about a year your silver aro will be at least 24", your plan is to keep it in that 4'x1.5'x2' tank for another 1 to 2 years after that?

my bichir does not eat pellets ...
that sucks :D mines all do

This current tank is just for until he grows out of it.then I will be upgrading him into a bigger tank.and so on and so on.it is not because im lazy ( cough*lies*cough) its because i wanted to keep small tankmates ( not small enough to be eaten) which will be serving a purpose in the tank as well :)

Why wait to upgrade? I'd be looking for his final tank now, rather than constantly upgrading. You'll spend far more getting a slightly bigger ever 6 months than you would just getting a large tank now. And your aro will be much happier.

if its sinking pellets id do bichirs and if floating i dont think clown knifes would do it unless you train it b.c mines doesnt eat from surface
Agreed. Bichirs make great bottom feeding cleaners of pellets. My senegal loves pellet that have fallen to the bottom. Clowns won't do as good of a job. Also, your arowana should not be hanging out at the bottom. It's probably still stressed. Give it time and it shall rise to the top.

nonono you got me wrong.what i meant by upgrade his tank i meant that I will upgrade his tank to his final tank for life sooner or later :) ( definately as soon as possible) but he has alot of swimming room in his current tank and hes not stressed out no more and he doesnt get spooked when i go near the tank anymore =D
