Well ****, short of ordering a new tank online i don't know if i would be able to upgrade to something bigger. the size of my tank is 72 x 24 x 17. I wanted something unique in there, but if he would outgrow i better look some place else.

**No thread hijacking intended**

I also just got a 125 of that size (72" long). If I get a silver arowana at 12" long how long till he would "outgrow" the tank?

Silvers need the most room. 125 is good enough till he is about 16''. If you want to house a silver for life, get a tank 350 gallons+

If you want a aro, you can get a jardini in a 180 gallon. Silvers may be the cheapest, but need the most room (and blacks).
